Dreams come true...

Hi... How's your life? I've watched different movies about people having great ambitions... Recently, I watched this movie called 'Raise your Voice'... Terri is her name. She loves singing. She always sings in choirs! So she wanted to join something in L.A. Besides when you win, you will be getting a scholarship... But unfortunately, her dad DIDN'T allow her... But on the bright side, her mum and aunt was supporting her! Subsequently, they planned to lie to her dad that Terri went to stay in her aunt's house but actually she went to L.A.!

So my point is that parents should always support their children's ambitions/dreams!... LET THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE!! I'm sure they worked so hard for it...

P.S. Hilary Duff was acting as Terri...

Footprints in the sand (Poem)

One night I dreamed of walking along the shores of different lands.
I could tell that You were with me by the footprints in the sand.
As I gazed upon the heavens, I saw pages of my life.
It was then I realized that You remained there by my side.
When the clouds began to gather and the rains came falling down,
I looked to only find one set of footprints on the ground.
I said, "Lord, why did You leave me in the troubled times of life?
I believed that You would always walk beside me day and night." (Then I heard:)
"My precious child, I'd never leave you.
I have carved you on the hollow of My hand.
It's then I carried you in My arms,
When you see one set of footprints in the sand"
Dear Lord, will You be with me as I travel through the years?
Will You be there in the struggles? Will You wipe away the tears?
As my eyes turn toward the ocean and the shores of distant lands,
I'm still thinking of the single set of footprints in the sand. (I heard Him say:)
"My precious child, I'd never leave you.
I have carved you on the hollow of My hand.
It's then I carried you in My arms,
When you see one set of footprints in the sand."
Will I hear the angels singing, as my life comes to an end.
Oh Lord, I long to see You. Will You be there once again?
My eyes turn toward the heavens, along the path of foreign lands,
Once more, I'm thinking of the set of footprints in the sand. (Jesus said:)
"My precious child, I'd never leave you.
See your name carved on the hollow of My hand.
I'm here to carry you to your home.
You will see one set of footprints in the sand.

How to Become a Christian?

You're not here by accident. Jesus loves you, and He wants you to have a personal relationship with Him. There is just one thing that separates you from God. That one thing is sin.

People tend to divide themselves into groups - good people and bad people. But God says that every person that has ever lived is a sinner, and any sin separates us from God. That includes you and me.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

According to man's rules, people should be punished or rewarded according to how good they are, and it might be hard for you to understand how Jesus could love you when other people don't seem to. But I have great news for you! Jesus DOES love you! More than you can ever imagine! And there's nothing you can do to make him stop!

Are you thinking that you should make things right in your life before you come to Jesus? Many people feel that way, but that's not what God says!

"God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

For you to come to God you have to get rid of your sin problem. But God says that you can't make yourself right with God by being a better person. God wants to save you JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU!

"He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy." Titus 3:5

It's God's grace that allows you to come to Him - not your efforts to "clean up your life" or work your way to Heaven. You can't earn it. It's a free gift.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

For you to come to God, your sin must be paid for. God's gift to you is His son, Jesus, who paid the debt for you.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Jesus paid the price for your sin and mine by giving His life on Calvary's cross. God brought Jesus back from the dead and paved the way for you to have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus.

All that's left for you to do is to accept the gift that Jesus is holding out for you right now.

"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10

God says that if you believe in His son, Jesus, you can live forever with Him in glory.

"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

Are you ready to accept the gift of eternal life that Jesus is offering you right now? If it is your sincere desire to ask Jesus to come into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior, then talk to God from your heart:

Here's a Suggested Prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in Heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins and save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation and I accept your free gift of eternal life."

If you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please let us know. We want to rejoice in what God has done in your life and help you to grow spiritually.

If you have questions or concerns you would like help with, please call or write and let us know. We're here to help you understand the love that Jesus is offering you for free, no matter who or where you are.

Mighty to Save Lyrics

Everyone needs compassion
Love that's never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Savior
The hope of nations

Chorus:
Savior, He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever, Author of Salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave

Verse 2:
So take as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender

Bridge:
Shine your light
And let the whole world see
We're singing
For the glory of the risen King, Jesus

God's 26 Guards (Angels)

A missionary on furlough told

this true story while visiting

his home church in
Michigan....

"While serving at a small field

hospital in
Africa, every two

weeks I traveled by bicycle

through the jungle to a nearby

city for supplies.

This was a journey of two days

and required camping overnight

at the halfway point. On one of

these journeys, I arrived in the

city where I planned to collect

money from a bank, purchase

medicine and supplies, and then

begin my two-day journey back to

the field hospital. Upon arrival

in the city, I observed two men

fighting, one of whom had been

seriously injured. I treated him

for his injuries and at the same

time talked to him about the Lord.

I then traveled two days, camping

overnight, and arrived home

without incident.

Two weeks later I repeated my

journey. Upon arriving in the city,

I was approached by the young man

I had treated. He told me that he

had known I carried money and

medicines. He said, "Some friends

and I followed you into the jungle,

knowing you would camp overnight.

We planned to kill you and take

your money and drugs. But just as

we were about to move into your

camp, we saw that you were

surrounded by 26 armed guards. At

this I laughed and said that I was

certainly all alone in that jungle

campsite.

The young man pressed the point,

however, and said, "No sir, I was

not the only person to see the

guards. My five friends also saw

them, and we all counted them. It

was because of those guards that

we were afraid and left you alone."

At this point in the sermon (that

I was delivering in
Michigan), one

of the men in the congregation

jumped to his feet and interrupted

the missionary and asked if he could

tell him the exact day this happened.

The missionary told the congregation

the date, and the man who interrupted

told him this story: "On the night of

your incident in
Africa, it was morning

here and I was preparing to go play

golf. I was about to putt when I felt

the urge to pray for you. In fact, the

urging of the Lord was so strong, I

called men in this church to meet with

me here in the sanctuary to pray for

you.

Would all of those men who met with me

on that day stand up?" The men who had

met together to pray that day stood up.

The missionary wasn't concerned with who

they were, he was too busy counting how

many men he saw. There were 26.

This story is an incredible example of

how the Spirit of the Lord moves in

mysterious ways. If you ever hear such

prodding, go along with it. Nothing is

ever hurt by prayer except the gates of

hell. I encourage you to send this to

as many people as you know. (You can do

so below with the refer us to your

friends button) If we all take it to

heart, we can turn this world toward

God once again. As the above true story

clearly illustrates, "with God all

things are possible" and more

importantly, how God hears and answers

the prayers of the faithful.

Test the Spirits...

Hi again!

Find in verse 1 John 4… That’s a very helpful verse… If you don’t have a bible or you find it difficult to understand in your bible version I will share it with you today. In 1 John 4, it says, “Dear friends, don't believe everyone who claims to have the Spirit of God. Test them all to find out if they really do come from God. Many false prophets have already gone out into the world, and you can know which ones come from God. His Spirit says that Jesus Christ had a truly human body. But when someone doesn't say this about Jesus, you know that person has a spirit that doesn't come from God and is the enemy of Christ. You knew that this enemy was coming into the world and now is already here.

Children, you belong to God, and you have defeated these enemies. God's Spirit is in you and is more powerful than the one that is in the world. These enemies belong to this world, and the world listens to them, because they speak its language. We belong to God, and everyone who knows God will listen to us. But the people who don't know God won't listen to us. That is how we can tell the Spirit that speaks the truth from the one that tells lies. My dear friends, we must love each other. Love comes from God, and when we love each other, it shows that we have been given new life. We are now God's children, and we know him. God is love, and anyone who doesn't love others has never known him. God showed his love for us when he sent his only Son into the world to give us life. Real love isn't our love for God, but his love for us. God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven. Dear friends, since God loved us this much, we must love each other.

No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is truly in our hearts.

God has given us his Spirit. That is how we know that we are one with him, just as he is one with us. God sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. We saw his Son and are now telling others about him. God stays one with everyone who openly says that Jesus is the Son of God. That's how we stay one with God and are sure that God loves us.

God is love. If we keep on loving others, we will stay one in our hearts with God, and he will stay one with us. If we truly love others and live as Christ did in this world, we won't be worried about the day of judgment. A real love for others will chase those worries away. The thought of being punished is what makes us afraid. It shows that we have not really learned to love.

We love because God loved us first. But if we say we love God and don't love each other, we are liars. We cannot see God. So how can we love God, if we don't love the people we can see? The commandment that God has given us is: "Love God and love each other!"

Thirst 4 God…

Bedtime Prayer

Dear, Lord

Now, I lay me down to rest
I thank the Lord; my life is blessed
I have my family and my home
And freedom, should I choose to roam.

My days are filled with skies of blue
My nights are filled with sweet dreams, too
I’ve no reason to beg or plead
I have been given all I need.

Beneath the subtle moonlit glow
I thank the Lord, so He will know
How grateful I am for my life
In times of glory and of strife.

The times of glory give me hope
The times of strife teach me to cope
Thus, I am much stronger in turn
Yet grounded, still, with much to learn.

Now, I lay me down to rest
I thank the Lord; I’ve passed the test
Of yet another day on earth
Grateful for its abundant worth.

This day has been a special dream
From morning ‘til the last moonbeam
Yet, should the coming dawn bring sorrow
I’ll rise, thankful I’ve reached tomorrow.

Amen.
